The director's job is so much collaboration. Every
project is about assembling the team that can make it happen. I
have always been thrilled with my casting decisions. If they are
right, 90% of my work is done. |

My
theatrical journey has been exciting and transformational, much
like many of the characters I have played, including Curtis Hogg
in Macbeth Did IT, Fanny Parker in The Vaudville Experience,
Victoria in Origin of the Species and Marty in
Women4Women. I would like to thank Karen for the life changing
opportunity and for her amazing support - as well as some of my
closest friends - who truly are the best fan club anyone could ever
dream for. |

Writing, acting and directing with this group has
been a giant, gleeful, soaring leap for me. In this group I have
played
Carter in 8x10 Glossy, Lucy and Eva
in Women4Women, Ashley in Street Talk, various roles in Once Upon A Lesbian, and Commander Tylie Hollway in Brides Of The Moon. I am a co-writer of Women4Women, Once Upon A Lesbian, and How The West Was One. |

Joining this group of witty, supportive,
and creative women has been an amazing privilege. With my performance
background in music, this opportunity to leap into theatre with
this group has been wonderful. Writing with Leaping Thespians has
allowed me to explore and develop a new area in my life. The latest checked off
the list was stepping onto the stage. |

Thank you for welcoming me to such an affirming group of performers
and friends. In the past decade, my favourite roles have been Janet
in Waiting for the Parade and Mrs. Savage in The Curious
Savage. It was also a great privilege to be part of The
Vagina Monologues for V-Day. In between, I’ve been a
washerwoman, a cigar-smoking mystery writer, a hillbilly granny,
a man in a garbage can, and other odd characters! |

It's
been an amazing journey to work with such a dedicated and passionate
group. I've been wearing the actor's hat now for 7 years and have
played Magenta in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, George
Noon in Cannibal! The Musical, Andy in Collage: Homage
to Kurt Schwitters, and Marie in A Study from Friends. |

Since becoming a Leaping Thespian, I learned the golden rule... you can't walk in the door unless you agree to have fun! I had the opportunity to work with some great people and these ladies are some of the most amazing, positive and FUN people ever! Over the past 15 years, I have worked as an actor and director. A few of the shows I have worked on include Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene, Rabbit Hole (Becca), Your A Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy) and The Monument (Director).

Writing and acting with the Leaping Thespians has been a blast. These women are amazing. I have done a lot of plays over the twenty years and these women make up one of the most positive and awe inspiring groups with whom I have ever had the pleasure of sharing theatre. Next up, pursuing music. Maybe I can convince the Leaping Thespians to do a musical... |

She is delighted to be back in the bosom of The Leaping Thespians and is thrilled to be acting again with this fabulous group of women. She would like to thank Karen for allowing her first opportunity to direct and greatly appreciates her “gentle hand”. |
